Grand Rapids, MI- The Mount Mary Basketball team and the Cougars of Kuyper College engaged in a close game that came down to the last two minutes on Wednesday in West Michigan.

The different was a 26-13 first quarter in which Kuyper was red hot from the floor and three point line, with many of the made shots highly contested by MMU defenders.
In the end, Kuyper shot a remarkable 10-21 from the three point line (47.6%) to just 5-22 for the Blue Angels (22.7%). This differential was enough for Kuyper to claim the single digit win.
