MILWAUKEE – The Blue Angel soccer team has ridden quite the roller coaster this season, and that ride continued Saturday in a tough 9-0 loss to visiting Grace Bible College.

The Blue Angels could only muster two shots on goal—one apiece by junior Rasika Perera (Oak Creek, Wis.) and sophomore Emily Ristow (Sheboygan, Wis.)—last week's Association of Division III Independents Player of the week.

The Tigers used a barrage of four goals scored in five minutes to surge into the lead that they would never relinquish. Grace would end with 28 total shots, 17 on goal.

Senior goalkeeper Ashley Leverenz (Mauston, Wis.) recorded seven saves on those 17 Tiger shots in the loss, bringing her season total up to 152 on the year—second in the AD3I.

The Blue Angels will conclude their season Monday afternoon as they host crosstown rival Alverno. Game time against the Inferno is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
