Ristow Named AD3I Female Student-Athlete of the Month

Emily Ristow (Jr./Sheboygan, Wis.) has been named the Association of Division III Independents Female Student-Athlete of the Month for October.

After a stellar season, and career, in the final month of play Ristow earns another award. This time her great play transcended her accomplishments over multiple sports to earn such an honor. Ristow was named AD3I Player of the Week in women's soccer in late October, and she continued to amaze before and after that week to maintain the award.

While scoring four goals in each of four games last month, Ristow finished the month with 24 goals, three assists and four game winning goals. October was a month few Blue Angels fans will forget, and it all caps off a fantastic and historic career for Ristow as she will depart from Mount Mary University as the all-time leader in career goals scored at 77 goals.

The junior helped guide the Blue Angels offense during their four game winning streak, scoring 14 of the 21 goals in that span. It has been a special season for Ristow, and Blue Angels fans will miss her!
