Mount Vernon, IA- Saturday saw the debut of the Mount Mary University soccer team under new head coach, Peter Knebel. The 2024 campaign began with a road match at Cornell College. The Rams took control of the match early and claimed the victory by a score of 11-0.
The Rams scored seven times in the first half to put the match out of reach. Cornell recorded 26 shots on goal throughout the contest. Brianna Brown was able to record 15 saves in net for the Blue Angels.
