Watertown, WI- The Mount Mary soccer team traveled to Watertown to conclude the 2024 season on Wednesday. Their hosts, the Sabercats of Maranatha Baptist University, struck for five first half goals and defeated MMU by a final score of 6-0.
Maranatha also took the previous meeting on September 24th, and a turnaround was not to be for the Blue Angels unfortunately. In her final game as a Blue Angel, Brianna Brown recorded nine saves in goal. Carolyn Abraham and Amanda Antonio each competed in their final game also. Abraham finishes the season with an impressive eight goals. Amanda Antonio played in over sixty games for Mount Mary, a stellar defender who also scored five goals and had two career assists.
Brianna Brown played in 42 games, with over 450 saves and a save percentage of nearly 60%.
