A Wauwatosa native, Coach Nicole Sperl began her work at Mount Mary University in 2015. Before that, coach Sperl earned a degree from UW-Milwaukee where she played four years for the Panthers soccer team.
In her time at UW-Milwaukee Sperl earned a laundry list of honors such as Horizon League All-Newcomer team (2007), National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-Region First Team (2008), All-Horizon League Second Team (2009), All-Horizon League First Team (2010), NSCAA All-Region Third Team (2010) and Horizon League Defensive Player of the Year.
Only one other soccer player at UW-Milwaukee played more games than Sperl. Her accomplishments continue as she is in the school’s top ten in assists, game-winning goals, points, shots, and games started.
