Dubuque, IA- Coming off of four consecutive home matches, the Mount Mary Volleyball team took back to the road on Tuesday. The Blue Angels took on the Eagles of Emmaus Bible College. The homestanding Eagles took the match in three sets over MMU.
Emmaus used the home court advantage to take set number one.
In the pivotal second set, Mount Mary held a 21-15 lead before Emmaus would turn the tide. The Eagles would come back and take set number two by a score of 26-24.
The home team continued the momentum and rolled through set number three by a score of 25-8.
Mount Mary (0-9) will return home for their next match up. On Thursday, September 12th, the Blue Angels will host the Cardinals of Andrews University. The match is scheduled to begin at 6:30 pm and all coverage can be found here at www.mtmaryathletics.com
