Rockford, IL- The Blue Angel Volleyball team took on the Regents of Rockford University on Tuesday. The Blue Angels were unable to get much going against the Regents and fell by scores of 25-8, 25-12, and 25-11.
Emma White recorded eight kills in the match and Rosalinda Palacios added six. Anastasia Paulino paced MMU with ten assists and White added five. As has been the recent trend, Abigail Manthey had a high dig total during the match, providing 18 for the Blue Angels.
Next up for Mount Mary (3-16) is this weekend's MMU Fall Invite. The event will see The Blue Angels take on Trine on Friday, October 25th at 6 pm and Saturday, October 26th at 10 am. Then Mount Mary will face Moody Bible at 2 pm on Saturday to conclude their home schedule. The 2 pm match will be recognized as Senior Day and the Volleyball program will commemorate the accomplishments of the 2024 senior class.
