Volleyball Recap: Ripon Tri-Match

Ripon, WI- The 2024 Mount Mary University Volleyball team concluded their season with two matches at Ripon College on Saturday. 

The first match of the day saw MMU take on Coe College.  While Coe took the match three sets to one, the highlight of the day came in set number 3, when the Blue Angels pulled out an exciting 25-23 set victory.  Against Coe, Emma White had six kills and six assists.  Anastasia Paulino also added six assists and Abigail Manthey paced the Blue Angels with 14 digs.

In the day's second match against the host Red Hawks, Ripon controlled the match and won in straight sets by scores of 25-11,25-7, and 25-18.  Ripon played a strong match after honoring their senior players and MMU wrapped up their season in the defeat.

Emma White had four kills, seven assists and nine digs.  She completes her illustrious Blue Angel career with 1641 assists and 867 digs.  Abigail Manthey once again led MMU in digs with 11.  Manthey finishes the season with 377 digs, one of the finest defensive seasons in the history of Mount Mary volleyball.
