MILWAUKEE – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference released their 2019-20 Scholar-Athletes honorees. The Mount Mary University cross country team has been a member of the NACC since 2015, and this season four Blue Angels were selected to the NACC 2019-20 Scholar-Athletes list.
The NACC honors student-athletes from member and affiliate institutions who hold a 3.25 GPA for the entire academic year. There are 13 members of the NACC that span all the way across Wisconsin and Illinois. The NACC also hosts two affiliate institutions: Mount Mary (cross country) and Eureka (Football). The Blue Angels annually fill the scholar-athlete list with multiple student-athletes and this year is no exception.
Miranda Fluegge (Jr./Menomonee Falls, Wis.), Emily Green (So./Waukesha, Wis.), Ellie McMeeken (Fr./ West Bend, Wis.) and Johnelle Suto (Jr./Enterprise, Ore.) made the 2019-20 NACC Scholar-Athletes list. Although the 2019-20 awards have just been announced, the 2020-21 season is right around the corner. The Blue Angels have seven meets planned for the coming season including stops at the NACC Championships in October and the NCAA Regional in November.
