Kenosha, WI- The Mount Mary Blue Angel cross country team competed in the Vic Godfrey open at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside on Friday. It was not only the season debut for Mount Mary, the race also saw four Mount Mary runners make their collegiate debut in the race.
Six Mount Mary runners completed the race, paced by sophomore Jennifer Villarreal in 75th place. Kaylee Baker finished in spot #80, followed by the four debuting runners, Janyia Johnson, Micaela Wesley, Sincere Cooper and Kimora Jefferson.
The Blue Angels will next be in action on Saturday, September 9th, when they compete in their second meet, at Concordia University Wisconsin.
