Beloit, WI- The Mount Mary Cross Country team was back in action Saturday after two weeks off. The Blue Angels participated in the Olde English Classic at Beloit College.
Five runners for MMU completed the race, with Mount Mary claiming a fifth-place finish. Brianna Mendez was Mount Mary's highest finisher, coming in 26th in the field of 32 runners. Other finishers for the Blue Angels were Jennifer Villarreal, Micaela Wesley, Mary Defore and Alexandria Eads.
Next up for the Mount Mary Cross Country team is a dual meet with Alverno College on Friday, October 6th. The meet will be held at Greenfield Park and will begin at 4:30 pm. All coverage of MMU Cross Country can be found on www.mtmaryathletics.com
