Mequon, WI- The Mount Mary Blue Angel Cross Country team traveled to Mequon on Saturday to compete in the Ken Weidt Classic. The event was hosted by Concordia University Wisconsin and saw 14 teams complete the race. Mount Mary was paced by Maya Morales (124th place) and Cristina Hernandez (130th place). Overall MMU had five runners complete the race and they finished 13th overall as a team.
Jennifer Villarreal was the next finisher for MMU (140th), follwed by Natalia Valdez and Savannah Clark.
Next up for the Blue Angel Runners will be the Tom Hoffman Invitational at UW-Whitewater. That race will take place on Saturday, September 21st. Stay tuned to www.mtmaryathletics.com for all news on Blue Angel Cross Country.
