Mequon, WI- Saturday at Concordia University Wisconsin, the Mount Mary University Cross Country team participated in the Wisconsin Private College Championships. Of the 10 four year teams competing, the Blue Angels finished in 7th place.
Maya Morales was the top finisher for Mount Mary in 79th place. Cristina Hernandez completed the 6k race in 85th place, followed by Jennifer Villarreal in 88th and Natalia Valdez in 89th. Sophia Hernandez and Savannah Clark also completed the race for the Blue Angels.
The times for Natalia Valdez and Savannah Clark were personal records for the two runners.
