Geneva, IL- On Saturday, the Mount Mary Cross Country team competed in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championship. Of the the 11 teams that completed the race, the Blue Angels finished in 10th place.
Five Blue Angels finished the race, paced by Maya Morales in 67th place. Cristina Hernandez finished 87th and Jennifer Villarreal 91st. Natalia Valdez was just behind Villarreal in 92nd, and Savannah Clark also completed the race for MMU.
For Jennifer Villarreal, her time of 36:20 was a season best. Morales, Hernandez, Valdez, and Clark all ran new lifetime personal bests. Savannah Clark has run a new personal best in each meet of the season.
