NCAA Era Series: IIT leads 10-3
A very tough Scarlet Hawks team, IIT is 7-6 on the season. With little exception, IIT has got the better of the common opponents between IIT and MMU. The Scarlet Hawks have wins over Alverno, Beloit, Moody Bible and split with Rockford 1-1. All teams the Blue Angels lost to this season.
The Blue Angels are fresh off their second win of the season. An incredible come from behind victory after going down 0-2 out of the gate, MMU came storming back winning the next three sets straight. The high kill percentage in the last three sets, brought the Blue Angels back from a near sweep to overtake their opponents in a stunning 3-2 win.
Payton Hintz (So./Almond, Wis.) now leads the Blue Angels with 57 kills and is second on the team with 88 assists. Her teammate Julia Terasa (Jr./Waukesha, Wis.) leads the team with 94 assists.
