The Blue Angels head to Watertown, Wis. to face the Sabercats (14-5). The former Association of Division III Independents rival has been on a serious hot streak, winning the last 26 straight sets. The offense is fueled by Alison Renz and Stacy Reinke who lead the team with 278 and 260 kills respectively.
The Sabercats have multiple options on offense for the setup, Emily Thompson leads the team with 499 assists. Her teammate Pam Borchardt has been getting the offense going also with 427 assists as well.
MMU will test that nine match winning streak Tuesday. Propelling the offense, Julia Terasa (Jr./Waukesha, Wis.) leads the team with 156 assists this year. Her teammates Laruen Harris (Fr./Sheridan, Ill.) and Payton Hintz (So./Almond, Wis.) lead the attack with 80 and 79 kills respectively.
Defensively Sarah Amoroso (So./Wauwatosa, Wis.) and Rachel Barker (So./Milwaukee, Wis.) are in front of the Blue Angels with 14 total blocks each.
