Mykaela is currently a master's student in the Professional Counseling program at Mount Mary with a Clinical Mental Health Counseling concentration.
She is interning at Mount Mary's Counseling and Wellness Center until her graduation in May of 2025. Harrington previously played club lacrosse at UW-Whitewater and became very involved in their athletic and recreational sports department.
She worked as the Club Sports Student Coordinator with UW-Whitewater club and recreation sports, which involved overseeing all 31 club sports at the university. Mykaela currently works part-time at a gym and absolutely loves the work environment and building relationships with members and staff.
Her personal and professional experiences with athletics have been so rewarding, when the opportunity to work with the athletics department at Mount Mary arose, she knew she wanted to be a part of the community.
Mental health is a huge part of athletics, sports, and everyday life and she wants to be a support and resource for our student athletes here at Mount Mary.
